Developing a Custom WooCommerce Website for Verde Bakery with Advanced E-commerce Features
Verde Bakery is one of the most recognized premium bakery brands in Bangladesh, offering freshly baked breads, cakes, pastries, desserts, and customized celebration products. As the brand continues to grow, it required a powerful e-commerce platform capable of delivering an excellent online shopping experience while supporting complex business workflows and custom ordering requirements.
I completed this project while working at Crowds Reach. This project is one of the most technically challenging WooCommerce projects in my portfolio. I designed and developed a complete custom e-commerce website featuring premium UI/UX, advanced WooCommerce functionality, custom plugins, payment gateway integration, SMS notifications, and multiple business-specific features that go far beyond a standard online store.

Unlike a traditional WooCommerce website, Verde Bakery required numerous custom business features that were not available through existing plugins.
One of the biggest challenges was creating a customized ordering workflow that allowed customers to browse product galleries and place orders directly from gallery layouts without disrupting the shopping experience.
The client also required automated SMS notifications, advanced checkout logic, payment gateway integration, and several business-specific features that demanded extensive custom coding.
To solve these challenges, I developed multiple custom functionalities and plugins specifically tailored to Verde Bakery’s operational requirements.
